This is a system that comprehensively manages and supports national energy information statistics
and provides energy information statistics through an integrated portal site.

1. 01It was established for the purpose of improving user convenience and satisfaction, establishing a national knowledge base for energy information and statistics, and establishing a service foundation for policymakers and the public.
2. 02The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy announced the ‘Regulations on the Preparation of Energy Statistics, etc.’ (MOTIE Notice No. 2013-70) and ordered the Korea Energy Economics Institute to establish and operate a comprehensive energy statistics information system.
3. 03In addition, the statistical compilation organizations for each energy source designated in the same notice have been institutionalized to cooperate in matters necessary for the establishment and operation of KESIS (submission of data, etc.)
