Consumption & Survey Statistics
- The standard protocol involves interviewers conducting face-to-face interviews by visiting respondents at their respective businesses, households, or buildings. However, depending on the situation, self-administered and interviewer-administered surveys, as well as face-to-face and remote surveys, are permitted and can be combined.
- If respondents prefer to complete the questionnaire themselves due to concerns about the inconvenience of face-to-face interviews, confidentiality, etc., self-administered surveys using paper questionnaires or web surveys are allowed. Additionally, respondents may submit the completed questionnaires to the survey organization via email or fax.
* In the case of large enterprises, where energy managers are present, records related to responses are well-maintained, and there is a high level of understanding of the survey due to continuous participation, self-administered surveys are partially permitted for the entire population. Collected samples undergo post-validation and re-survey processes.
- In the 2023 survey, the TAPI (Tablet-Assisted Personal Interviewing) method, utilizing tablet PCs, was applied across all sectors.
